Etsy Etsy Etsy

So here's some news for you - I love Etsy :)

Here are a few new things added to my favorites recently.
This lampwork bead wire wrapped ring
This mushroom handbag
This hand painted ring
These comic book magnets
This pretty vintage ring
And this pendant

I also listed these two new cards in my shop!

This Little Piggy Card

I took this picture a few years ago at the Maryland State Fair. I want a mini pig so so bad!

and this Antique Furniture Card

This was taken at the Captain Visger Bed and Breakfast in Alexandria Bay. The innkeeper was so super friendly, and she went out of her way both mornings to make Karim and I vegan breakfast. It was so delicious. I would consider making the 8 hour drive again for that alone!

Only three more days until Halloween!! Happy Wednesday!

New Items!!

Just posted three new cards in my Etsy Shop!!

The Happy Dachshund Puppy Faux Polaroid Card. This is a Polaroid I made with a picture of my dog Lily when she was only 4 months old. Now that face shows true happiness :)

Love Grows Faux Polaroid Card. Taken in my backyard!

Partly Cloudy Card. Taken a few summers ago on the beach in Ocean City, MD. I love the way it looks, especially as a Polaroid!

Also, I bought this purse from UO today!! I love it!

Happy Monday!

You're a deer :)

I don't even really know why, but I LOVE this! Can't beat that it's from Shana Logic, where everything in the shop is handmade!
I made some new cards earlier this week for my Etsy shop! I'm going to really, really try to get pictures of them outside this weekend and get them listed! It's hard when it rains every weekend though!!
Fingers crossed for good weather :)

TATTOO TALK

So here's the scoop on the possible tattoo. Rescue Ink is an organization of big tough guys, some of them with not so squeaky clean pasts, that have banded together to try to fight animal abuse. They are basically all heavily tattooed. Well, a bunch of people in Baltimore banded together and agreed that if these guys would come to Baltimore to help bring awareness to animal abuse in Baltimore, that they would get a paw print tattoo. My friend Jackie agreed to do it, and along with about 100 others, got Rescue Ink to come!!
So this Saturday, the Baltimore Tattoo Museum will be tattooing paw prints for $100, and all of the profits will go to the Humane Society. Now, I've always liked tattoos, but only in certain places and only certain things. I always knew if I got a tattoo it would be somewhere hidden, probably my hip, and it would have to be something I would like for the rest of my life (obviously). I figured animal rights is the one thing that will not change. So this kind of seems perfect. Originally a design was posted, and I didn't like it, so figured that had made my decision not to get one. Well apparently that wasn't the design, and they just posted the new one, which is exactly what I had imagined in the beginning. An all black small paw print. So now I am up in the air about it again! I am the most indecisive person ever so it's torture to think about it!

Wish me luck with my decision!

Monday

I just wanted to first reiterate again how much I love the shop Pink Saguaro. The rings I ordered were delivered to my work on Friday, but I wasn't here so I had to wait until today to get them. It was so worth the wait! The rings are (amazingly) even better in person. They were each wrapped up in a little bag with a drawstring and on top of that she included a free pair of earrings. What a fantastic seller. She has also given me some tips on being a new Etsy seller, since she is fairly new too! This is one of many reasons why I love Etsy so much.

Here are a few of the other items from her amazing shop!

The rings I got remind me a lot of these from Tarina Tarantino, but at such a fraction of the cost!

Also, I really love these shoes!

But considering I don't even go out all that much anymore, plus it's been really cold here recently, it might be more practical to consider these since they're cheaper but still just as cute if you ask me!

But let's be honest, I have tons of shoes at home already with high hells but I always opt for shoes that won't make my feet hurt after 15 minutes!

And since I'm on the topic of Target (the greatest store of all time), here are two of the things I ordered yesterday :)

These rain boots. After it rained for about 4 days straight, I finally buckled down and ordered them.

And this ring by Anna Sheffield for Target. I LOVE when Target has expensive designers create affordable lines for them. I have way too much from those collections! It was hard for me to decide which piece to order from this line, but I'm happy with my decision.

And one last favorite item from Etsy right now. This tattoo inspired rose necklace. There has been some tattoo talk recently, and after this Saturday I may have my first one! More on that later this week :)

Happy chilly Monday!
