Soaking up the sun!

This weekend it was miraculously not below freezing during the day! Lily and I actually got to go for a walk Saturday AND Sunday. Clearly this exhausted her. Yesterday she slept the entire day. Here she is soaking up the sun through my bedroom window (she tried to lay outside in the sun but it didn't last long!).

Happy Monday :)

These are a few of my favorite things . . .

Tom Binns for Disney Couture Alice Bangle Bracelet
Flower Cluster Necklace
Farrah Ring in Snow White
Knitwit Bangle in Yellow (seriously, how unique is this??)
Anything from The Poppy Tree
Also, I just received this Acid Alice ring and Tuxedo Lingerie ring from Tarina Tarantino today. I am in love with them both (but especially the Acid Alice one!!). They are both pretty small and understated for Tarina Tarantino, but so perfect for wearing every day :)

Happy Friday to everyone!!

Acid Alice

Tarina Tarantino just launched her brand new collection called Acid Alice. It's a part of her Queen Alice collection, but all of the new pieces are in neon bright colors. Clearly, since I'm dying to go see the new Tim Burton version of Alice in Wonderland, I really like this collection. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.

Have a great weekend :)

Free People

I've heard of Free People before but I guess I always assumed it was crazy expensive so I never really gave it a chance. Well I got a catalog in the mail last week (that's how they sucker people in I know) so I went to their website to look around. Their clothes aren't cheap, but they're not insane, and their accessories are actually really reasonable! I also discovered that the guy who started Urban Outfitters is the same guy that started Free People (Free People became UO and then he relaunched Free People after UO took off). Here are some of my favorite things from there right now!
The last ring is by artist Jessica Seaton. It's a little bit more expensive but it's made by hand using the lost wax method. I thought that made it pretty unique!

Handmade Cards

Yes I make handmade cards. But I still enjoy buying handmade cards from others on Etsy. There are so many wonderful shops that I just can't resist! Here are a few of my recent purchases.

Aren't they all so cute? I have several others on my favorites ready for when I send these!

Snow Snow Everywhere

Well on Saturday my town got 39 inches of snow, and then Wednesday we got about another 18. Needless to say this is not typical for Maryland, and this storm (now being considered one so we get federal aid) has already made history. I can't say that I'm thrilled though. And more snow is on the way for Monday. All I can hope for is that Spring gets here quickly! Here are some pictures from my adventures so far in the winter wonderland we are experiencing!
Lily's face says it all.
More pictures on my Flickr page! Stay warm everyone. And please pray for Spring!

Guess what??

This is my 100th blog post!! I've actually kind of been putting it off because I wanted it to be a really good one!

Well there was MORE snow here in Maryland last night. About 4-5 inches at my house. Oh, and we might get like two feet this weekend. So basically I want to move somewhere warm ASAP. I swear the winters get harder for me every year. But moving along . . .
I added three new cards to my Etsy shop! Of course they're all made from pictures of Lily. What can I say? She is adorable and I have approximately a million pictures of her so it just makes good sense to use them!
In other news, there are tons of new things I'm dying to buy. Fingers crossed for a good tax return this year! Here are some of my favorite things right now.

This amazingly adorable cupcake and crossbones necklace
This Juicy Couture butterfly ring
Vintage glass ring by Mars and Valentine (I think this is my favorite right now)

kate spade's candy dot bangle
mark's Citrus Bloom perfume
mark's print condition scarf
mark's vintage bloom ring

mark's arm candy bag in beige
PS after seeing the latest sneak peak of mark, I'm really into the hippie chic vibe for Spring. Actually, anything for Spring would be nice, as long as it means warmer weather and less layers to stay warm! Side note: the items from mark won't be available until early March, but since I'm a rep I was able to order everything yesterday!! If you're interested at what they currently have for sale, check out my mark store! Honestly I only became a rep because I love their products and even if I don't sell anything, the discount I get for myself makes it worth it!
Oh and I watched my sister's dog Dakota from Saturday night to Tuesday. She brought over her bed, and of course Lily went ahead and took it over. She barely gave Dakota one little corner to lay on. Such bad manners!
Happy Wednesday everyone! Please cross your fingers for no blizzards this weekend!!
